Ok so there was this great contest I entered. It was a Franken contest. You had to create your own color and then take a pic wearing it. I decided that I wanted to try my hand at this since it seems like a tone of fun. I had bought some Interfenrece Green by PearlX a while back and I knew I wanted to use that in it. It is a powder that give things a light green kinda duochrome shine to them. I also had picked up the color mink y PearlX as well. It is reddish brown with a shimmer shine to in micro form. Both are powders and come in 2 gram jars. They have LOTS of other colors so I will probably be getting more since I had such a great success. I knew I also wanted to use green as the base color. I ended up using Laser Lime by China Glaze. Well here is the first pic.
This is an up close picture of the color. I made sure to angle it without the green duochrome. It shows the holo micro glitter that is in there along with some of the brown shimmer glitter. You can see that it is a medium brown.
I chose to show this picture next because I think it nicely shows off the light green duo shimmer that is in the polish. This picture was taken in the shade. The bottle used to hose this creation is sa LA color crazy bottle.
This next one was taken with the flash. It slightly turned the green shine a little golden, but there is a golden aspect to it. This picture also shows how reflective the polish is with all the micro shimmer and glitter that is in the polish.
This next picture is in the sunlight I wanted to show the holo that is in it. It is subtle linear and also a scattered holo mixed in. You get both types of holo due to the polishes I uses. I used half a bottle of the Laser Lime by China Glaze, which contains the scattered holo, and then also 1/6 teaspoon of He’s going in Circles also by China Glaze, it has the linear holo in it. The holo really comes out due to the amount of polish uses. More would have had to have been used if I had used more than the half of the bottle I did.
So here is the picture that I submitted for the contest. It shows off the holo on the thumb and pinky, while showing some of the green duo on the other 3 fingers along with the micro glitter on all.
